hey guys! long time no see.

taiwan has been okay - i've been surviving without msn and doing lots of things instead - eg. making friends with buskers and forgetting how to speak chinese when shopkeepers with crazy eyes stare at me and most of all, craving sleep.

i've seen pictures on facebook of everyone! sounds like you have all had a good time.

it's new years soon! it feels like 2010 has gone by so fast but in a way i'm glad it's departing because it was so dramatic and stressful. here comes 2011! one year before we all perish. hehe jk.

today i went to a cake museum and sun yat sen memorial hall..... and i've also been practising for a mandatory karaoke competition in which i have to dance the wonder girls dance which happens to involve feeling myself up and shaking my sweet, tight ass (JKZ) multiple times.

anyway i just wanted to say that i miss everyone - especially sean because he doesnt have facebook in china and also kristy and yeah.

(damn the title is long. still brushing up on the chinese ahaha)

It becomes incredibly boring, when you're stuck at home, with nothing to do but wait/pack.

all the more, when you wake up at 6, only to come home after a lecture, to sleep again till 1.

man my life rocks.

the day mostly consisted of eating, sleeping, playing piano, studying and watching videos. yes, i know it sounds nice and relaxful. but i'd much rather try and get some things done before Harbin..

which reminds me, Harbin, in..-checks watch- 2 days time. (damn that's close). sadly enough, im looking forward THAT much to the trip -sigh-. hell, i havent even started packing yet. (maybe i should write a list of what to bring yeah?)

well, my essentials would include:

1. glasses/contacts. (im getting the hang of contacts, now only takes me about 2-3 tries to get them in!)
2. mobile (even though there's no sim card..)
3. iPod
4. camera
5. netbook/hdd
6. extra gum (lolol)
7. -thinks- (im running out of ideas) err, my scarf?
8. ... no i've lost it.

yeah, goes to show how prepared i am aha.

suddenly, a 40 degree christmas doesnt sound so bad as:

"...when we arrive there, it'll be a nice minus 20 degrees and snowing in Harbin..."

-facepalm- im really gonna love the weather. im curious though, would Harbin's airport be like Heathrow right now? like, filled with snow, and barely able to move..hmm.. i'll upload pics when i arrive (via this blog... if it isnt blocked)

circular motion is a b*tch. and vertical circular motion makes me want to burn the physics book already urgh.

(that is all, avoid physics if possible at all costs.)

feeling pretty tired now, just not sure why. (maybe too much sleep haha). on the plane trip there, supposedly meant to sleep, but i dunno. maybe might just stay awake reading.

all in all, wish i had something to do. cant start much work now, since im about to leave. but oh well. plenty of time for work when i come back (no not really, cramming, here we come!)

also still need to check stock road markets for corsage costs. winthrop village quoted it to be $30 a corsage, but i think stock road could do it a bit cheaper. it only opens on fri/sat/sun, and friday is christmas eve urgh. not sure if it'll be open, if not i'll give a call/leave a message.

(been needing to brush up on chinese for Harbin)

Today consisted of 6am physio in west perth, followed by tutoring chris for econs, then some suit hunting in the city. and may i just say...

suits are -insert profanity-ing expensive.  (original budget was $200, looks like that'll cover..3/4 of a jacket?)

-sigh- looking through those available, those that were cheap, (i.e under $300) didnt look that great. the cut on some of them was off, and so was the sizing of areas. worst moment, was when we had to walk into Emporio Armani...
holy mother of..
never felt so out of place aha.
decided against getting anything (too poor la.), and nothing looked that really appealing.

so, here i am, writing this post. not much else nothing else better to do..(i think). really should start packing though. im weighing up whether or not to bring my rubiks cube..(probably wont..eh.)
there's not much else to say.
spent the past few days backing up ridiculous amounts sh*tloads of data. family photos/events/all other stuff, is now saved to two hard drives, computer, netbook and 4GB CD's.
(if they all somehow get wiped, im really going to rage.)
so yeah, life's great.


now, my own little rant time, something i havent done in a time.

before you criticize others, criticize yourself. (yes i know i fail at this, but i am trying to improve.)
there's not much point stating an apparent difference if there's nothing to differentiate (lol im studying 3CD maths, jk, i have a life.. no not really) between you and the other.

respect is difficult to gain, but im amazed at how quickly you've lost my respect. -clicks fingers- just like that. -nods head- hell, dont care if you bother to read this or not, it's my own blog, so i can post what i like (fyeahh)

Today was pretty gooddd. (ok, maybe more than just pretty good -fei chang hao ah.-)

scrabble/lunch/talking (insulting each other) makes for a pretty fun day.

had to wake up around.. 8 (i think) to finish cleaning the rest of the things in my housee. chris came at 9:30, and we ran (pfft, not literally) to the shops to buy a few last minute things. came back, and we thought we forgot the vanilla ice-cream. checking the freezer, thank god we had some, and didnt need to walk all the way back.

people started arriving one at a time (well, two pairs, a loner, then a mob) and i tried vainly to protect my wardrobe (which was an absolute mess -sigh-) with two girls slamming you against the wall, and chris just looking on laughing, it doesnt work out well haha. (turns out there was nothing inside. woo.), no there were no "mags or dvds" in there, chris.

we started playing scrabble, stupid daniel took the letter 's', which we needed for...squirm? (something like that).

food preparation, zomfg. trying to juggle baking hash browns/chips, while boiling noodles for spaghetti, and heating up the sauce, while also trying to point out where the drinks are, and prepare a salad -dizzy look-, not sure how girls can multitask. almost ended up burning myself in the oven (note to self: use thicker oven mitts). still, result turned out well, nothing burnt, and it all tasted good was edible. (no-one touched the salad thoughh.)

lunch was good, and we had fun making jokes at each otherr. (i.e. insulting chris/calvin). not sure why everyone migrated to my room though (maybe the air-con was cooler? -shrug-) ended up with chris looking like he was spooning my bolster (gonna need to get a new one aha).

we ate a bit more, but really was just a relaxing day, time to catch up with friends (in person) and to discuss some ball planning (are we getting a photographer?!?!) ah well, time for that laterr.

thoughts: tired, and physio at 6 tomorrow, oh god.

Well, I don't actually have it yet, but I hope i'll take it soon.
it'd be a pic of everyone from both Corpus and Mod hahaha. you guys mean the world to me.
there hasnt been a chance yet, to have everyone together for the photo, but i do hope in the future there'll be one.
