long timee.

For it wont be long
till i'm gonna need
somebody to lean on...
Lean On Me
 (hope justin reads this)

Wow. it's been a more than a week since i've posted anything new, and in that time adam's posted 2 vids, and lilly a short post (why so short, and in jap?)
still, between that post and today, there's been, 5 exams, 2 study sessions, a movie, a dinner dance, a party, a failed attempt at returning an iPod, a new camera, too many hours on black ops/gears of war/dota and ...randoms dropping by.
-whew-
wasnt exactly easy to remember it all. (there's probably more, but that's just the key things)
so, unless you're really, really, REALLY FREE (hey, its holidays, who isnt yeahh?), dont bother reading this LONG-ASS-POST.

Pt 1: the chemistry exam.
hmmmmmmmmmmm.
DAMN C2O4-2 IS AN OXALATE ION (not dicarbon-tetraoxide, as i wrote down urgh.) well, i think it went ok in general, being the first exam, i had studied the most for it, and it remained pretty fresh in my head. Finished with some time to spare, calculations were pretty ok. (EF for the carbon compound was CH2 yeahh?) in general, i found it pretty fair. (those 4 ionic equations are my bane argh.) lala, at the end of it, it was over, and josh and i agreed to rip it up in front of our teacher if we didnt get above 70%.

Pt 2: library studyy
not much happened, we saw kenny again (well kinda). got more work done, i was the only sad one there from corpus worrying about the economics exam on monday -sigh- everyone else had dived straight into physics. surprisingly, almost all of the huge jokes had died down (which just ruins the fun, i think) much time was put into preparing victory celebrations/dances/actions, however, most of us, after-considering-the-amount-of-study-for-chem-a-waste, gave up, and lost focus immediately (aileen, not mentioning any names specifically hahh.)

Pt 3: religion...wtf.
really, that was on a monday morning, and it was one of the most taurusfaeces exams i've ever done. a 2.5 hour paper was crammed into 2 hours, and we only found out halfway through, that we needed to cram the remaining second section in, urgh. the questions, really i want to bash the person who made them up, some were pretty straightforward, but asked for like, wha- 12 MARKS?! then others were just beating around the bush. by the time you finished writing a long-winded mini-essay, you read the next question and realised 3/4 of your essay relates to the next point and so forth. (really, it was the longest 2 hours of my life -cries in corner-). the moment the supervisors said "pens down" the entire room looked up, and just shook their head. some had given up earlier, while others had tried-to-cram-in-as-much-sh*t-as-possible-in-five-minutes. (oh well, it's not a worry anymore) still, im kinda sad, that my 94 average for that subject is probably gonna drop -cheesy grin-.

pt 4: economics = good
straight after the religion exam, bolted to get my bag, find an empty classroom and begin studying (ofc, dropped by the canteen to buy recess/lunch, my stomach was making noises fifteen minutes into the religion exam -no shame here-) my idea of 'revision' pretty much consisted of me yelling out random answers to those asking questions, and sometimes, asking others to regurgitate their knowledge in as little breath as possible. kristelle tried to cram for economics, not sure how well that went. we went to see ramsey, and he said the best words possible (besides "we're cancelling the exam"):
"there's no CAD or FAS stuff"
i jumped for joy at the moment (58% in that test really killed me -sigh-)
stepping into the exam, i felt reasonably confident. and thank god i wasnt scared.
opening the paper, reading time was bliss, began preparing essays, selecting questions, choosing which ones to do first etc etc.
multiple choice had a suggested working time of "35 mins", after finishing 24 questions, and checking over again, i looked up at the clock, and realised only 15 mins had passed...LE FUUUU. spent almost 2 hours on my extended response, which included TWO QUESTIONS (yes i answered both, unlike others -you know who i mean-) and hope i get at least 17/20 for each response.
I HATE THE LAPTOP. i accidentally pulled the power cable out once, and lost about 20 mins of working. then, 2 minutes later-  IT FROZE. urghhh, after restarting again, and about halfway into the next question- THE MOTHER!@#$%^&*( PIECE OF @#$%^&*( FROZE AGAIN. (at least i had saved after every single new sentence -yes, i know, sad-). friends nearby could visibly see that i was raging at the laptop, half tempted to ditch it half-way across the room.
and thus, the economics exam ended.

pt 5: engrish exam.
another taurusfaeces exam. was held in afternoon. first question asked us to analyse a text from a choice of two. i chose to do the one on cosmetic surgery, simply because: a) it was shorter, b) it was written in plain english. (reason enough? i'd think so.) second section asked for you to choose a question from about 6 options. i chose to write about why we should exclude our novel "the curious incident of the dog in the night time" (now imagine writing that a couple of dozen times in an essay) from future english courses. im pretty happy with my work in that, but i think the quality of my writing exponentially decreased from then onwards. third section was visual texts. (i fricking hate visual texts), i chose to analyse some backyard party scene, that depicted australian culture due to the beer and bbq. (yeah not that much to go on), i'll be content with a 16/30 for that section. (funnily enough, that was where i wrote the most, probably because i waffled on for about 9/10 of the time.)

pt 6: PHYSICS
morning of physics exam, everyone was pumped that this was their last exam. walking in, looking at the paper, it wasnt that bad (please dont quote me on this), i almost found it kind of "fun"? i dunno, lets just hope the results are good. after the previous stupid english exam, josh and i agreed on nodding our heads at the end of reading time if we found it ok. thankfully, we both nodded. thank godddd i brushed over those heat questions, they proved to be quite a b*tch in the exam -sigh- who cares, by the end of it, the first thing we did when the supervisors let us go, was hug each other. IT WAS OVER. we were all so happy. for most of them, it meant no longer needing to return to school (unless you wanted to pick your results up -or face it being mailed to you urghhh-) after that, chris and i went to josh's place to get changed, then we walked from school pretty much, to about halfway to garden city (we're such smart cookies, arent we?) we felt like dying by the time we reached there. THEY RAN OUT OF CHICKEN STRIPS at red rooster -cry- so i had to settle for a rippa sub with a chicken fillet sliced in half (tasted funny) after that, chris and i looked around for birthday presents while josh wandered off with kiara (didnt want to interrupt anything yeahh). bumped into vania and trakkie, and we got pretty cool presents for people. (so awkward to have two guys walking around garden city, with a nerf gun and pink teddy bear, some old ladies gave disapproving looks).

pt 7: city hunting
following day, none of us bothered to wake up early (i.e before 10) met with justin and chris in the city to find birthday present for jodiee, decided morning glory was a rip-off (as per usual) and decided to go see tokyo underground, one quote summed up how we felt
"guys, it feels so good, knowing that we dont have to rush lunch, and then go back to the library to study" justin.
oh yes, the euphoria of freedom was slowly setting in. (slowly, ever so slowly)
after finding all the presents, we decided to go back to my place. catching the train, we saw a guy with an interesting t-shirt called "shutdown group" as an actual company name (i wanna work there one day, just coz of the name -grin-). arriving back, we blasted on the aircon and finished our lunch in the games room.
then the fun started.
chris began asking if we had any ties that we could lend for his striped red shirt. well, me and justin had none, so he asked to borrow one of our shirts for the dinner dance...it snowballed from there, and justin unleashed his inner metro. we began dressing chris up, and finally agreed on him wearing a white shirt, with either a red tie or bow-tie, and a vest. unfortunately, we selected the red tie (even though jamie said bow-tie > red tie -i still liked the bow tie more though-) the reason being that the bow tie made him look like a waiter.

pt 8: new cameraa
NIKON D3000 -drool- friday morning was spent travelling amongst camerahouse and jb hi fi's, needed to buy things for the Harbin trip, and a camera was one of them. we finally decided on the nikon d3000, which is a pretty cool entry-level DSLR, the guy at the shop (fabio? was it), awesome guy, gave a good packaged deal with other accessories. omgg dslr -drool-

pt 9: deathly hallows
met up with chris and justin at garden city again, once they had chucked their things in the car, we went to wait for the guys from mod for deathly hallows (just after chem examm). movie was pretty ok, was bored out of my mind during the forrest scenes, where not much happened. (the scenery wasnt even that great), highlight was probably towards the end, when justin showed me a text from kristelle, which i couldnt help but laugh. chris later nudged me, and i looked to my left. one word/sound described it... NAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
yeah, haha. end of movies, was picked up, and rushed back to my place. 3 of us got ready for dinner dance, and just for the hell of it, began camwhoring in my bathroom (lololol). after we were about to leave, we received a text from aaron stating "life is good" upon asking why he replied with "go check fb". i have never seen, the three of us, run so fast to a computer. once we logged on, all we could do was stare in shock (im guessing most of you would know the details by now -i'd hope-) but once again, oen word/sound....
NAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

pt 10: dinner dance.
omg, by then, i was pretty much dead. so tired and drained. dinner dance was good in general. lots of laughs, lots of photos, lots of food. everyone looked amazing haha, mocktails were pretty good. friends were split amongst 3 tables, but it really wasnt an issue with everyone walking around. dinner was served table by table, and surprisingly, we were able to taste the fish, see the vegetables, and chew the roast. ah, it was good. lots of photos taken with the new dslr -smile- well worth it. sunset wasnt that spectacular though, which was a shame. i stayed away from the dancefloor though (stupid claustrophobia argh) but had  good time talking with others nearby haha. by the end of the night, we were all dead. apparently walker had gotten into trouble with some cake, and craggs was threatened with the removal of his prefect status for piggybacking a guy on the dance floor. (im pretty sure the knee-ing to his balls was punishment enough -ouch-) justin and chris came back once again, and were picked up around midnight.

pt 11: long evening
waking up late that day, i only had a few hours to realize that exams were over. after that it was preparation for some family dinner. all i did there was eat, and play some piano for aunties and uncles to hear (omg, why me? im not even graded -sigh-) at about 8pm, left for gerards. first sight, walking in through the doors, was anyi and aaron sitting on the piano stool. everyone else was dancing in gerards dining area (yes the tables had been removed) once again, claustrophobia didnt exactly help me, so i spent most of my time sitting in a separate room talking with others. chris looked really sick from the strobe lights, and spent much of his time with his face buried in a shroom doll, unable to take the light. the cake was delicions, and in general, everyone really enjoyed the night haha.

I REALLY CANT BE BOTHERED< TO FINISH THE LAST PART.
there's just too much, and this is already a damn biography -sigh- i'll write the rest up tomorrow/today, and will post it asap i guess hahaha
anyways,
bye for now
urgh so effing late. (also, i'll format it more tomorrow)

thoughts: omg, finished the post...for now

kill me now.

For some reason i cant explain
once you go there was never
never an honest word
and that was when i ruled the world...
Viva La Vida - Coldplay

Well, it's being been a long time since i've written something.
so yeah, of all days i chose today to write a pretty long post.
because i've studied chemistry so much and deserve a break (nah, just procrastinating)

well, studying at the state library is pretty fun. you get lots of work done, and the best bit...
free air-con.
especially in todays 38 degree heat urgh.
(however this increase in temperature would increase the reaction rate of reactions due to the increase in average kinetic energy and the increased amounts of collisions...oh god chemistry is all coming back.)
still, it's lots of fun.
especially at those moments, where you make these kind of jokes:
-josh's books all over the table-
josh: sorry justin, am i taking up too much space?
-i begin laughing-

or

josh: if they (nathan and jamie) had kids, they'd be the weediest looking kids.

or

-mobile rings-
josh: heyy seanyy, a text from nancy eh?
-snatches phone and looks-
josh: oh, it actually is.
-chris pisses himself laughing-
-ignores and continues listening to ipod/ studying-

ah the memories.
along with walking ridiculous distances on crutches for bbt. (which reminds me, i dislocated my knee the other day...by tripping over a hole -probably caused by the thermal decomposition of soil- <-- now im not making any sense)

still, my head hurts. library every single day since monday. although monday, we got hardy anything done. (well, we kinda did, lol jk, we did nothing.)
teusday tuesday, chris justin and josh were distracted by aileen (what a big surprise jk)
we managed to cram on wednesday and thursday though, so all's good. (i hope)

the past papers from p. mod for chem were surprisingly easy (then again, still think i'd get around 65-70%).
the multiple choice questions were harder than corpus' but the calculations were almost ridiculously easy! some of them listed out the steps to calculate the required mass of calcium carbonate (which worked out to be around 10.55g...i think...) haha, still was pretty interesting comparing the difficulties of subjects (i know i'd be screwed doing maths there).

chem exam tomorrow, really not wanting to do it (should i trip over that hole again?)

procrastination is so damn good. and so much fun. (hey im doing it right now, instead of worrying about conjugate acids and bases, or how to use inverse log to find the concentration of an acid)

that'll sum it up for now.
really am too tired/lazy/bored/tired... (<-- see, im repeating myself, oh dog dog... GOD) yeah, there were more typos, just didnt want to look like a retard highlighting every single one -sigh-

thoughts: just under a week, just under a week.

37 degrees

”いくつもの虹 超えて行けるよ
二人で オーバーザレンボー
小さな光り 星に願いを
叶えてよ きっと 青い鳥”
(rainbow - round table ft. nino)

So uh.. I decided to write this post because I can't be bothered studying p&l because I know I'm going to fail it. :3 Today was a nice day.

Imagine the following scene:

It's 37 degrees but you're inside the library being a nerd. N8n8 and J-mi are sitting at a table in front of you and Jamie smiles and it's heartwarming. Kathy is at a table studying in solitude and all you can see is the outline of her elaborate sexy hairdo. Anyi is chilling in her school uniform two tables in front of you to the left. Ailz is sitting in solitude too, but in a place where all the Corpus guys can perve on her nice ass (;3), unbeknownst to her. Sean is limping around in his nice but pitiful way. JJ is quietly studying maths specialist at another table near you.

You recall all the hilarious things that happened today so far.
1. Jamie saying something hilarious to an old lady.
2. Kathy eating red rooster chicken like a savage.
3. Anyi in general.

And the nice things!
1. Nathan giving you the sundae he didn't want - so you effectively obtained a free ice cream.
2. The nice old lady who collects money for the Salvos.
3. Seeing Sandra ~

It's nice to step out of the picture and see how the world works.
And how great these people are.
And how nice a library can make things when it's 37 degrees.

interactive literature study

a test of my memory!

absurdism: the conflict between the human tendency to seek inherent meaning in life and the subsequent lack of a meaning in life.

theatre of the absurd: theatre that combines absurdist ideas and dramatic elements.

"to be told so little - to such an end, and still to be denied an explanation!"
"uncertainty is of the normal state: you're nothing special"

"what are you driving at?!" "what's your name?"
"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" "game, and match!"

"but why? was it all for this? who are we that so much should converge on our little deaths?"
"I bet you anything the year of my birth doubled is an odd number!"

death:
"do you ever think of yourself as actually dead, lying in a box with a lid on it?"

"so that's it - it's commonplace"
"the ultimate negative... the endless time of never coming back..."

did you know 60 million people died in WWII?

WUTHERING HEIGHTS

"gipsy brat"
"forbidding young blackguard"
gipsy -> "gentleman in dress and aspect"

"attempting the coxcomb"
"colt's mane"
"I hope he will not die before I do!"

"the half civilized ferocity that lurked yet in his eyes"

omgah so much .-----.

I guess the change in your pocket wasn't enough, bitch!
g'night everyone.
and good luck ~

Pumped like a G6

WARNING: Excessive mathematics puns below.

WHO IS PUMPED?

If this was a vlog you would see me jumping out from behind an office chair shouting "I AM PUMPED" in a horrendously low voice.

In other words, I am PUMPED (for a maths exam).

This is the first time my "instantaneous rate of productivity" doesn't feel like I've just wasted $100 on Big Sweetland (and we all know how that feels, right?).

But this is the FESTIVE SEASON FOR EXAMINATION, and so I would like to wish my fellow 3AB buddies a very merry examination period. I am sure we're all going to pluck that year average to something higher than 3 standard deviations above the mean.
See, the signs of strenous revision are showing already.

Remember, if you ever feel like you want to pass out during the exam, think of all the help your indices questions need. They need to find x or they will die of starvation!
Or what about your normal distribution friends? They won't find out the probability a cereal box will have less than 500 g of cereal in it by themselves; you can't have UNDERPACKED BOXES OF CEREAL. IT'S MADNESS.

Once again, I encourage all fellow 3AB'ers to tear out of the cardboard box of exam stress and take charge.

Or should I say, tear out of the cardboard BOXPLOT. You don't want to be in the 1st quartile, do you?

(for econs anyway)
and maybe chem (later, like two days time?)
we'll see, need to consult with josh if he doesnt mind.
anyways
here are the econs ones:
2A Economics - Chapter 5 - Market Efficiency.docx\
2A Economics - Chapter 6 - Market Failure.docx
2B Economics - Chapter 10 - Unemployment.docx
2B Economics - Chapter 8 - Economic Growth And The Business Cycle..docx
2B Economics - Chapter 9 - Inflation.docx
2AB Economics – Chapter 12 – The Role of Government.docx

well, that's it for now?
still weighing up whether or not to include uploading chemistry notes, hmm.

anyways

hakuna matata :3

finished last day of year eleven(: except i'm set in a complete holiday mood instead of hardcore studying for exams. oh well, watching harry potter and the order of the phoenix! dumbledore's army is sew inspiring.

it felt reaally sad today most of the time at school, like we were never going to see each other again..but it only feels that way when we know all our timetables are getting mixed around ;_;

in lit, we have our own corner of the classroom and we can eat and laugh and gossip about ms sharpe's boyfriend and admire her clothes every day and still get work done. in politics and law, monica gave nancy, dillon and i sentimental letters about our dream team/crew/gang and it was really lovely and it made us laugh until our cheeks hurt (except we were all crying inside). i would rearrange my timetable next year to keep the dream team intact. i'll also miss adam doing all sorts of crazy keystroke things on my laptop. lulu is the best person to sit next to in maths. we bitch fight and help each other out and write little notes and ignore each other and say dayuuum boi and every lesson is entertaining :3 modern history with bina is fuuun and i'll miss conway talking about his wife and his daughers (who aren't allowed to date until they're 25) and his past crushes and his own high school experience and his laid back but also caring attitude. i always look forward to photography because of amy and ellen and tom and lloyd and temov's sarcasm and the fact that he doesn't block youtube on our computers. finally, chemistry. it was my last lesson EVER today and it's such a good feeling :3 except i loved sitting with lucy lanee and nathaniel and daniel's jokes from the back of the classroom and samuels' cute moments and when he remembers my name!

after all that rambling, it makes me realise how much i'm going to missssss my teachers and all the people in my classes.

p.s. good luck for exams guys!

You whispering in my ear in the darkness
I’m flying with the smile in my dreams
Because I have you as wings…
Paris - Epik High ft. Ji Sun

Man, it's been a while since i've updated this haha. (no thanks to the tests/assignments)

well, most of it is over now (most of it.) now it's just exams (i cant wait!) nevertheless, it's nice having a break with nothing due (well, there is economics, but that's not till wednesday, so i wont worry for now.)

fyeahh, 86 + 94 in physics. (so happy, i think).

exams, god they're getting close. first one is chem on friday, wing it, or not...

FMA: Brotherhood yeah -smiles- good so far, sounds so much better than the cr*ppy english dub.

not much else really, just waiting for exams to come (and finish, fast.)

well, im feeling nice, so i think i'll start sharing my study notes, the links below are for economics 2AB, i'll slowly update more and more files each day, mainly for economics and chem.
english if i can be screwed.
physics, no way am i uploading ocallaghans entire book. (each one is like, 50 pages)
religion, pfft, what religion notes?
so yeah, mostly econs and chem, the theory intensive stuff. excuse any typos.

Ex-ham

Recently, people have gotten into the flavour of exams. And I just want to ask them, what flavour is it? Because if it's bacon-flavoured I want more. :D

Of course, exams are a peculiar flavour. Probably more like expired sweet and sour pork. No classes means more time to study but studying seems like a job for sweatshop workers.

But is it really the exam that causes you stress? There are people who can micromanage exams like zergling rushes in StarCraft II and still come out unfazed.

One day, you might get a job, a family and a mortgage to handle. That is probably where your unrequited energy should be heading towards. And in that time you'll wish you could handle the stress better.

So maybe we just have to get used to the expired sweet and sour pork flavour, because if we can handle it, the ending will be sweet.

call it off - tegan and sara

today i've had such a lack of motivation to do work, only doing a bit of maths here and there, and instead of doing some productive study, i've been watching episodes of 10 things i hate about you.
yet i still can't take my mind off exams D: it feels like they're such huge make-it-or-break-it situations. yet i still continue to be lazy while a bazillion other people are studying super hard and not giving in to the distractions of msn or facebook or lame american tv shows. how do you guys do it?!
i'm also countdowning to jack johnson and tegan and sara concert in 27 days, photography camp in 23 days and my birthday in 21 days. :)

anyway, i created a photography blog!
http://teresajamie.blogspot.com/ check it out please :3 it's practically empty but i'll gradually be adding more and more photos to it.

you don't have try any longer - do what you want to!

"Three little birds sat on my window
And they told me I don't need to worry...."

"...Maybe sometimes we've got it wrong, but it's alright!
The more things seem to change, the more they stay the same..."
(put your records on - corinne bailey rae)

OMGAH. it's almost exam time guys! Time to buckle hard and study like a bitch ~ Although sometimes you wonder what all this is for. Getting into a cool university, sure! But sometimes that isn't really clear when you're yelling at an optimization question that involves ridiculous amounts of substitution and hard differentiation. Also when you realize that you will waste approximately (6 x 3 = 18! [not 18x17x16.... just an exclamation mark because I am satisfied with my maths skill) 18 hours in an exam hall needing to pee like crazy and watching the resident genius 2 seats in front of you scribbling away like there's no tomorrow while all you can think is... *SHIT, COUNTING TECHNIQUES. AND I NEED TO PEE* (I love you AJ Sadler/curriculum council)

Anyway, do you ever have a really fantastic dream and then think it's real the next day? And then you turn on your computer or do some equally menial everyday task and you realize *oh shit.... it wasn't real after all*. In my dream, everything the way it used to be. Friendships weren't weird, I didn't feel like throwing up when seeing some people, everything was natural, bubble tea was $3.50.... etc. But noooooo, reality had to slap me in the oil refinery-esque shit that is my face.

It feels like I'm living in cow dung right now - but I really hope that things will get better soon.

On another note...
*yay* getting a test that everyone thought was really easy but I'm p. sure I failed tomorrow!
*yay* sitting next to someone in chemistry class who thinks I don't exist!
*yay* feeling sick!

GL for preparing for exams, bros and hoes. I believe in each and every single one of you. Except you don't actually need me to believe in you because you're all incredibly intelligent, deshou? Also in the next week I will probably pester you all about various maths questions I can't do. Just warning you.

And on this sinister note, I shall leave you for tonight.

Farewell, sweet princess and princesses of the adolescent world.

See that meter on the right?

The meter on the right of this blog is actually a mini game. Let me introduce you to it:

For each "500" that meter reaches the person who first sees it will gain good luck for 3 months.
When the meter reaches "9,999" the person who first sees it will gain good luck FOREVER.

Therefore, it is in your best interests to reach either the "500" or "9,999" or risk being eaten alive by mindless soul eaters and cosplayers (same thing really).

By pressing the Refresh button at the top of your browser repeatedly, you are increasing your chances of NOT being eaten by mindless soul eaters and cosplayers.

I now wish you the best of luck in your endeavours for completely pointless mini-games like this.

Remember if you don't, you risk being raped by a rabid Sailor Moon fan.

details in the fabric - jason mraz

okay i have time to kill as i wait for 28 minutes to watch the last 10 minutes of vampire diaries because MEGA VIDEO IS A PIECE OF SHIT THAT CANT COUNT.
i'm starting to really freak out about exaams, yet again i'll be cramming the week before >___> and i have an intense bet with louis for the maths exam, and the mcflurry hanging on the line is giving me the only motivation to actually study.

this morning lulu and i went to eat sushi (ruuuv late friday mornings) but i get really intimidated when we pass adults because they all have the same judging shouldn't-you-be-at-school looks. despite that, today was pretty good :3 in photography, i was talking to tom & lloyd (who remind me so much of hamish and andy it's insane) and we were checking out lloyd's blog which is INCREDIBLE (http://lloydsnook.wordpress.com) and it got me thinking that hopefully one day i'll have enough guts to create a blog focused solely on my photography! maybe when i acquire more skills though.

anyway, i was looking through old photos on my laptop and i found this and it made me amazingly happy ♥

have a good weekend gaise :3

Combo breaker

Wasn't as hot today. AMAZING.

lead me out on the moonlit floor

"swing, swing, swing the spinning step;
you wear those shoes and i will wear that dress"

Kiss me - Sixpence none the Richer

Waking up for school every morning has been hard....

*alarm rings at 6:00* "dammit, another hot day and i have two classes today with no airconditioning." if i was smart enough I would invent my own fan or personal air conditioner that operated from the solar power because I enjoy being green like that.

Tomorrow I have to write an essay on the Andrew Mallard, a guy who got wrongfully convicted of murder. I am exposing the many holes in the criminal justice system of Western Australia and I feel like a detective. But since its so hot the novelty has dissipated somewhat and I am just left with sleepy eyes and a crappy introduction. Anyway I hope everything goes okay.

Loneliness. It's a p. bad feeling! When... oh my gah... quite a few of your friends have significant others it's quite easy to feel left behind. I think the reason why I am such a group hopper is because a majority of my friends have some significant dude in their lives and only want to spend a small portion of their time with me. It's like making a cake made up of little slices of different cakes - and in the end it's just a confusing hodgepodge of sugary, fatty stuff. Sometimes it's not all bad. You see everything. But there are times where I wish my cake was homogenous and tasty and big and good and complete with my friends all the time.

As Sean expressed earlier, he is at breaking point. And I think I might just be there too. Exams, drama, people changing, shit... This is going to be interesting!

Okay, I'm off to work more on my shitty intro that I'm pretty sure everyone else has already written. So good night for now, blog-san!

Likes of the day: dumb bogans on train, sleep, 90s music, beating Graham in big 2
Dislikes of the day: sleepiness, flirting

It’s alright to smile only for yourself

Alones - Aqua Timez

piss me off, and i will, seriously rip your -insert profanity-ing head off.
oh yeah, absolutely fantastic mood.

having training for something you volunteered to do, until 8pm, doesnt sit so well in my understanding. especially if it involves sitting in a crowded, tiny minuscule room with 30+ people.

short fuse, fyeahh.

in physics, you learn about tension, and how after a certain amount of stress, the string/chain/linking/whatever, will snap. well, how can that apply in real life eh? everyone can only take so much. but what happens when you reach that breaking point? will you suddenly stretch, and be able to take more? or will you just snap?

just snapping sounds so much easier. (plead on grounds of insanity yeahh.)

i really did think more of you. but i guess i was wrong (as usual). must you really?
im not sure how, really im not sure. how it came to be this way. was it my fault? yours? or both of ours? still, i cant be bothered worrying about it. it's pointless, it really is. don't even bother. (and i cant be bothered caring eitherrrrrr.)

the song Alones, by Aqua Timez strikes me as a really nice piece. nice rhythm and lyrics. and below is the vid haha.
still.

Don't even bother.
best words piece of advice. (hell yeahh)

today felt like a hell-of-a long day.
arrived at school at 7:50 (man so early) studied econs, went to see H.O.Y about leavers jackets.

was given the choice to do econs test tomorrow, but might as well have gotten it done today.
finished it in 2/3 of the time. just hoping i got most of it right lol. (honestly, i dont really care if i screwed up, so long as i passed.)
rest of day went by pretty fast-ish. (nothing else much really)
during after school chem tuition, since we missed 3-4 classes:

josh: you notice how the people always doing stuff out of class do phys, chem and maths 3AB.
chong: yes, that's because you are all such good students.
sean: ...or we just dont have lives.
(sadly enough, what i said applies to me.)

tomorrow till 8:30 pm, for Cadre training. (really, i have no clue why i even bother with these things.)

distractions are good. they take your mind off what really bothers you. hell, you could be down and blue, and all that is needed is someone to ask you to go find the new designs for leavers jackets. yeah, distractions are extremely useful. only thing that sucks, is when you've finished, and you're no longer distracted. it comes back, and hits you harder. guess it pretty much builds up into something that really packs a punch.

what does the term "friend" mean to you?
is it someone you trust, someone you get along with, or simply just someone you know? it's an extremely broad term, over-used i'd say.
but really, how do you tell your "friends" from everyone else? -shrug-

all A's next year seems possible, all that it would require is:
  1. delete my msn/hotmail
  2. permanently deactivating fb.
  3. turning off my wireless modem.
  4. downgrade to $5 a month for mobile.
and i seriously am considering these things. next year is your one shot at uni. the last thing you would want are distractions. (hmm, or i could just turn off the modem, the rest would follow though...mostly.)
alsoo, im not going to organise anything after exams. if you want to, do it yourself.(that is all)
i dont consider it worth the time/effort/preparation i put in. in the end, it becomes just another "outing" that you have a few memories of. what you fail to see is the hours/days/weeks of planning, put in for just a few hours. definitely not worth it on my part. i'd rather play piano.

i'll wrap it up here. organics test tomorrow, and i need a decent amount of sleep.

(you ask how deep my love is for you,
how much I love you,
but my feelings won't waver,
my love won't change,

konnichiwa guys ~ I am procrastinating like crazy right now. I've got 3 assessments on friday and one on thursday that is probably worth a shitty crazy amount. I should probably stop caring because the same people always get the best marks and it is just generally unfair. -___- but the sad thing is, I don't think I would be able to have a life outside of education :L school has backed me into a tiny corner and it won't let me out. I wish school wasn't such a stupid rollercoaster with people who seem bent on throwing you out of the rollercoaster and people who have such a strong centre of gravity that everything in the rollercoaster is attracted to them and you're alone on the side and you don't know what to do. I don't like being lonely.

I'm listening to 2NE1's new song "It Hurts" and I like it because I like music with a piano and a idk.. constant running beat? Also one of the chicks in the video has really awesome blue hair! I would want blue hair like that, but blue eyes vs. black eyebrows......... Anyway, I've been tired and sad for two weeks due to sleep deprivation due to bad dreams. I don't even know what I do at night anymore. It's really strange. Maybe I have an alter ego that acts while I sleep like the guy in Fight Club.

I guess... I guess... other than wanting to procrastinate I wanted to write this blog for the following reason - to remind myself, along with other people that one hug can make a difference. Maybe it doesn't seem like it when you gingerly wrap your arms around someone, but really, it does. It can make the difference between a happy person and a sad person or loving and hating; the difference between "nobody would care if I jumped off this bridge onto the highway" and "wow, life is okay after all!". It can mean so, so much to some people.

So next time you drop by McDonalds or KFC and see a lady crying, give her a hug. And next time you see a person who hates your chinky guts, hug them good. And next time you see that one person you really, really want to hug, just do it!

ok, ciao for now.

Likes of the week: Japanese children, friendly bus drivers, kittens, people who sleep on public transport, blue hair, no hair, headphones (still), Jack Johnson, Ikea

Dislikes of the week: SNSD's new song, furballs, people who pretend, people who think that the whole world revolves around them, males who steal my time with my friends...

Willing to do anything, now I will get going…
Heartache - Outsider ft. MC Sniper

It feels like such a long time since i've had the chance to update my blog haha. (well, two days?)
yes i missed you. (kinda.)
still, it's been pretty, umm interesting intense since then? (yeah im not really sure myself.)

saturday was spent at the state library. i like love our table. allows us to see when randoms walk up the stairs. perfect angle for graham and justin to stare at asian girls without drawing too much attention. it's also near to the chairs where the hobos/asians sleep. so it does become pretty funny, when all is quiet and you suddenly hear a snore.
note to self: drag an extra desk over next time.
we're rapidly running out of desk space, and when each person has 3-4 subjects they're trying to studying for, space becomes a luxury.
no Wesley guys this weekend haha. (justin probably scared them off... or was it aileen? hmmm.)
got lots of work done (surprisingly)
although i had a pretty bad headache. (why is the world so cruel to target asians with hayfever. urgh)

sunday, didnt wake up early for badminton. wayyyyyy too lazy, still r+r'ing after the tournament (even though i did barely anything), 13 horus hours of sleep felt so goodd. didnt wake up till 1.
then i realised i was screwed. (oh so very much)
spent pretty much the entire day on physics/physics/physics/physics/econs/chem/eng. (yep 4 x physics.)
what i'd give to control time (now im going to go off on a tangent).
  1. during an exam or something, you could pause, go to the teachers laptop/desk. collect the test papers etc etc. then copy out the answers. (maybe that's how bryan does so well, hmmmmm)
  2. if bored during class, pause time, then walk around, maybe take a walk to winthrop village and get some food. ("borrow" some food yeah? if time's paused, security cameras in theory are paused to..jks, im not that stingy)
  3. fast forward through boring classes. (i.e english, religion and economics. especially english)
  4. slow down moments you wish would last forever
  5. travel back into time, and get a pet dinosaur can just imagine flying on a pterodactyl (except as ocallaghan argues, the atoms/molecules in the dinosaur are now in us, so by taking the dinosaur forward in time, you're destroying the possibility of using those molecules/atoms. yeah, i actually pay attention in physics)
  6. fast-forward into time. (i wouldnt mind owning a Gundam -wide smile-, even a Knightmare Frame would be gooooddd)
  7. most importantly, pausing time, so you can sleep for hours on end, and spend the rest of the "normal" time doing something productive. (i.e eating.)
Still, live would be so much more fun if i could control time (just a thought, if anyone has a way of controlling time, contact me immediately. thankyouu)

today we changed lockers, mine is.. -looks at arm- (oh it's still written on there), locker 782, is it M782? i dunno. all i know is that it's a bottom locker, and it's in a dark corner (urgh.) i found out today (twice), how awkward it is, when you go to your locker during class, as about half of the class to the right of your locker, with a wide open door, can see what you're doing. still, i cant complain. it's not as bad as the poor souls whose lockers are near the toilet windows (aha suckers.)
physics test i found "ok". my fears were brought up in a conversation later:
josh: how'd you find the test?
sean: i found it pretty ok, everyone else said it was hard.
josh: yeah, was pretty hard for me, you probably screwed up every single question then.
sean: yeah, dont remind me.
although some may argue, i "pwned" the test. i really dont think so. (wish i was as optimistic as you guys.)
lunch was rushed towards leavers jacket planning. not sure how the guy mixed me and josh up
i mean, come on. one of us is asian, skinny, wears glasses, a jumper and has black hair.
the other is white, tank, no glasses, no jumper and striking orange hair.
-shakes head-, probably needs to get his glasses checked again.
end of the day was spend coaching little kids for public speaking. omg, they're so loud. even though there were -counts- six of them? they made more noise than a year-11-economics-class-during-teachers-life-stories.
-sigh-

tomorrow, special minister of the eucharist training till 4:20, then library with chem teacher till 5 for test prep.
-profanity- far out, Cadre training goes from lunch till 8:30 pm on wednesday, and then the entire day on thursday.
man im so screwed for subjects.
then exams. damn, they're getting close.

still, there's light at the end of the tunnel (well there better be, or im calling in demolition teams.)

thoughts: leavers jackets arghh.

10/10 day

i love the library club. ♥
that's pretty much it.

interactive literature study

a test of my memory!

absurdism: the conflict between the human tendency to seek inherent meaning in life and the subsequent lack of a meaning in life.

theatre of the absurd: theatre that combines absurdist ideas and dramatic elements.

You don't want to be in the 1st quartile, do you?

well, that's it for now?
still weighing up whether or not to include uploading chemistry notes, hmm.

hakuna matata :3

finished last day of year eleven(: except i'm set in a complete holiday mood instead of hardcore studying for exams. oh well, watching harry potter and the order of the phoenix! dumbledore's army is sew inspiring.

it felt reaally sad today most of the time at school, like we were never going to see each other again..but it only feels that way when we know all our timetables are getting mixed around ;_;

in lit, we have our own corner of the classroom and we can eat and laugh and gossip about ms sharpe's boyfriend and admire her clothes every day and still get work done. in politics and law, monica gave nancy, dillon and i sentimental letters about our dream team/crew/gang and it was really lovely and it made us laugh until our cheeks hurt (except we were all crying inside). i would rearrange my timetable next year to keep the dream team intact. i'll also miss adam doing all sorts of crazy keystroke things on my laptop. lulu is the best person to sit next to in maths. we bitch fight and help each other out and write little notes and ignore each other and say dayuuum boi and every lesson is entertaining :3 modern history with bina is fuuun and i'll miss conway talking about his wife and his daughers (who aren't allowed to date until they're 25) and his past crushes and his own high school experience and his laid back but also caring attitude. i always look forward to photography because of amy and ellen and tom and lloyd and temov's sarcasm and the fact that he doesn't block youtube on our computers. finally, chemistry. it was my last lesson EVER today and it's such a good feeling :3 except i loved sitting with lucy lanee and nathaniel and daniel's jokes from the back of the classroom and samuels' cute moments and when he remembers my name!

after all that rambling, it makes me realise how much i'm going to missssss my teachers and all the people in my classes.

p.s. good luck for exams guys!

some econs study notes (finally.)

(each one is like, 50 pages)
religion, pfft, what religion notes?
so yeah, mostly econs and chem, the theory intensive stuff. excuse any typos.

and yeah, dont try selling it to people etc etc.
i trust you readers to be good (i think.)
and yeah, ACKNOWLEDGE WHO ACTUALLY WROTE THEM. and yeah, y'know. dont just change the formatting, and a few words and claim them as your own -shakes head-

anyway, i created a photography blog!
http://teresajamie.blogspot.com/ check it out please :3 it's practically empty but i'll gradually be adding more and more photos to it.

i dont even.

It doesn’t matter if I’m lonely. Whenever I think of you
A smile spreads across my face.
It doesn’t matter if I’m tired. Whenever you are happy
My heart is filled with love.
Hope Is A Dream That Doesn't Sleep - Kyuhyun
( zomg cute lyrics.)

THERES A CULT OF KIDS PLAYING IN THE SWIMMING POOL NEXT DOOR. THEY"VE BEEN SQUEALING FOR 2 HOURS ALREADY.

i smirk.

cos they dont know whats coming at them when they get to high school.

complete hell.

T_T

you don't have try any longer - do what you want to!

AMAZING.

Wednesday, November 3, 2010

lead me out on the moonlit floor

"swing, swing, swing the spinning step;
you wear those shoes and i will wear that dress"

(and i cant be bothered caring eitherrrrrr.)

the song Alones, by Aqua Timez strikes me as a really nice piece. nice rhythm and lyrics. and below is the vid haha.

nooo.

With one mistake, everything else will be lost
When your head is down, fold your hands
Spread your wings, you can fly...
Fly - Epik High

(hmm, or i could just turn off the modem, the rest would follow though...mostly.)
alsoo, im not going to organise anything after exams. if you want to, do it yourself.(that is all)
i dont consider it worth the time/effort/preparation i put in. in the end, it becomes just another "outing" that you have a few memories of. what you fail to see is the hours/days/weeks of planning, put in for just a few hours. definitely not worth it on my part. i'd rather play piano.

i'll wrap it up here. organics test tomorrow, and i need a decent amount of sleep.

konnichiwa guys ~ I am procrastinating like crazy right now.

If we can’t be beside each other, I will just leave
